BC Designs copper boat baths are made in the traditional hand crafted manner used for centuries, and therefore there will be gentle undulations and some colour variation in the finish so every bath is unique.

BC Designs copper baths are supplied without overflows. If an overflow is required it can be drilled on site - please contact BC Designs for further information.

BC Designs copper baths are excellent heat conductors and will maintain the water temperature much longer than cast iron baths. Even after the bath has been emptied it will remain warm to the touch. This enamel version has a durable layer on the inside and polished copper on the outside.

Maintaining Your Brass Boat Bath:

We recommend to routinely clean with warm soapy water and non abrasive cloth and dry immediately after use. Avoid dripping taps, sharp objects and the use of chemicals.

Maintain the finish by re-applying a suitable wax seal (BC Designs recommend Renaissance wax) regularly every 4-6 weeks depending on use. More usage will require more maintenance.

If the wax wears off and oxidisation develops on the copper surface, clean the bath with a fine metal cleaner, such as Autosol, then re apply the wax.

Please be aware this bath is not lacquered and will require regular maintenance to keep it shiny.
