It still provides the perfect combination of spacious bathing and wider showering area, however its P-shaped footprint is smaller. It encompasses enhanced minimal looks and the very latest assistive features for ultimate relaxation.

As with all Access walk-in baths, the Indiana is number one for safety and comfort. It has advanced slip resistant surfaces and a generously wide, low access door. This stylish glass opening has been specifically designed for maximum safety and can be lifted out of position if rapid access is required.

10 year warranty for bath shell, bath panels, glass doors and removable hard seats where applicable subject to reasonable wear and tear. 1 year warranty on brassware, motor and electric items (hinges, handles, waste, air spa system, chromotherapy lights, seat lifting actuators, back up batteries, soft material seats ,control pads / buttons and connecting wires). This bath has BioCote antimicrobial protection built-in, it's a premium silver-based antimicrobial technology that provides built-in, around the clock protection for a lifetime of Access bath products. It is effective against a wide range of microbes, including harmful bacteria that may cause illness and reduces the risk of cross contamination.

Commissioning for Powered Baths

Once your new bath has been installed an engineer from Gainsborough Healthcare Group Ltd will be sent to carry out checks to make sure that the bath has been installed correctly and will be suitable for use. The checks carried out at the commissioning visit are -

• Travel board removed
• Bath fixed to floor with brackets supplied (4 off)
• Bath is level on both horizontal and vertical plane
• Up / Down movement of seat - to be tested with primary user seated
• Bath frame is Earth Bonded
• All Cables lifted off floor and cable tied as required
• Water seal between bath and walls where required
• Area cleaned and rubbish removed
• RCCD correctly fitted and tested as per the latest IEE regulations
• Panels correctly fitted using all retaining fixings
• Customer instructed in use of bath and given user guide
• The bath operates in battery back mode
• Water temperature set correct to customer's requirements shower if fitted 38°c hot water 43°c

Bath Handing - The door is available on the left or right hand side of the bath. This can be seen in the main images.

Hard Powered Seat - The Hard seat is designed to give instant solid support as soon as you sit down. It's based on a dining chair height. It travels almost to the bottom of the bath but has to allow room to prevent trapping of fingers underneath and around the sides. It is the more popular option and best suited to people with hip issues. The seat can be removed by releasing 2 push buttons so that the bath can be used by a totally ambulant person and for cleaning underneath.

Soft Belt Powered Seat - The belt seat has a fixed length anti-slip fabric. Because it has a more free flowing nature it will change shape as the slack is taken up as a user sits down. If the user tends to flop down in the last movements of sitting then it may be that the hard (GRP) seat is better suited. However, the soft belt goes right to the bottom of the bath and the user can slide down the bath in the water. They should be ambulant enough to reposition themselves to the belt to raise up once bathing has finished. The nature of the belt it will envelope the user like a hammock and may not be comfortable to those with hip issues or replacement hips.

End / Side Panel - For use when installing into a corner, we recommend a panel is purchased to conceal the underside of the bath.
