Check and double-check!
It is sometimes easy to make mistakes when ordering products. No matter where you are buying, make sure you have the correct dimensions, are satisfied the product meets your requirements in terms of operation, colour, finish etc. If you are unsure, ask BEFORE you buy! The supplier should be able to give you the information you need to make an informed choice, if not, try the manufacturer. It is worth noting that depending on the product type, returning items can prove costly.

 

Timescales
When planning your bathroom, ALWAYS include a safety margin in terms of timing. Order your main bathroom items in good time so that if something is wrong or damaged, you can rectify before any tradesmen are on site.

 

Check products on arrival
Ceramic bathroom products, baths, mirrors etc. are very fragile and from time to time, damages do occur. Always check your bathroom products as they arrive. No matter who you purchase from, the time between goods being delivered and notification of any damages must be minimal to ensure any claim is dealt with promptly.
